MSX 30 Index Closes Lower at 7,303.30 Points
Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “MSX 30” index today closed at 7,303.30 points, down 85.6 points, or 1.16 percent, from the previous session’s close of 7,388.86 points.
According to the MSX report, the value of trading stood at RO 21.73 million, marking a decline of 24.2 percent compared to RO 28.66 million recorded in the previous session.
Market capitalization decreased by 0.386 percent from the previous trading day to reach approximately RO 36.14 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 2.787 million, representing 12.83 percent of the total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 3.328 million, accounting for 15.32 percent of total trading.
As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of approximately RO 541,000, equivalent to 2.49 percent of total trading value.
