    • Oman Chamber Wins Corporate Leadership Award for Commercial Franchising

    Cairo:  The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), represented by its Commercial Franchise Centre, won the Corporate Leadership Award for Commercial Franchising during its participation in the Egyptian-Saudi International Franchise Exhibition, which concluded in Cairo.

    The award recognises the Chamber’s efforts in developing the commercial franchise ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman, enhancing the competitiveness of Omani brands and supporting their expansion into local and regional markets through specialised programmes and strategic partnerships.

    During the exhibition, Omani companies also signed two memoranda of understanding with Egyptian counterparts in the fields of beekeeping, honey production and silverware.

    The Chamber’s participation forms part of its ongoing efforts to support the commercial franchising sector, strengthen the presence of Omani brands in regional markets and establish economic partnerships that open new opportunities for the Omani private sector, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to diversify the economy and enhance the role of the private sector.
