His Majesty Sultan Haitham and HH Sheikh Tamim visits Al Bayt Stadium

Muscat (ONA) : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik visited Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor city, Qatar on Monday. A Bayt Stadium is one of the venues that will host World Cup 2022 matches. The visit comes as part of His Majesty the Sultan’s state visit to Qatar.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, lead the welcoming party that received His Majesty the Sultan at Al Bayt Stadium.

His Majesty the Sultan commended the unique design of the edifice and its facilities, noting that Al Bayt Stadium affirms Qatar’s ability to present an exceptional model for hosting such a global sports event.

His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by the head and members of the mission of honour and the Omani official delegation.
