Muscat Stock Exchange Closes Higher as Trading Value Rises 11%
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 7,540.83 points, gaining 5.9 points, or 0.08 percent, compared with its previous session close of 7,534.98 points.
The total trading value rose 10.95 percent to approximately RO 61.56 million, compared with RO 55.49 million in the previous session, according to the MSX report.
Market capitalization also increased by 0.159 percent to approximately RO 38.32 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 10.478 million, representing 17.02 percent of total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 10.861 million, or 17.64 percent.
As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of approximately RO 383,000, equivalent to 0.62 percent.
