Oman’s National Defense College Launches 14th National Defense Course

Muscat (ONA): The National Defense College, at the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, today held a ceremony at the college’s headquarters in Bait Al Falaj Campto mark the start of the 14th fourteenth National Defense Course.

The ceremony was held under the auspices of Rear Admiral Ali bin Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defense College.

In a speech on the occasion, the chief guest stressed the importance of the course in enhancing the participants’ leadership and strategic capabilities.

He urged them to set their minds in ways to benefit from the course’s components, including the diversity of military, security and civilian experiences and scopes for exchanging expertise in a manner that enhances strategic thinking.

The course seeks to groom a new generation of military and civil leaders and provide them with knowledge, skills and leadership values ​​that enable them to assume strategic positions and contribute to devising national policies and decision-making.
