    Oman Marks Prophet Muhammad’s Birth Anniversary with Ceremony in Taqah

    Taqah:  The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, today celebrated the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for the year 1448 AH in the Wilayat of Taqah, Dhofar Governorate.

    The ceremony was held at Sheikh Mustahil bin Ahmed Al-Mashani Mosque under the patronage of Honorable Salem bin Muslim Qatan, Vice President of the State Council, in the presence of a number of dignitaries, citizens and residents of Dhofar Governorate.

    The programme featured a visual presentation, poems and religious chants highlighting the Prophet’s biography and the values, lessons and morals embodied in his life.

    The celebration aimed to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), highlight the historical and social values associated with the occasion, and reinforce these values among Muslims and younger generations.

    It also emphasized the importance of following the Prophet’s example and reflecting on the lessons and guidance contained in his life and noble conduct.
