Sultan Qaboos Institute Welcomes Students from 14 Countries for 63rd Arabic Course
Muscat (ONA): The Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers today received its new batch of students from various countries around the world, as part of the 63rd course, which marks the first session of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The new batch comprises students representing 14 nationalities, namely the United Kingdom, France, Hungary, Ukraine, Mexico, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, South Korea, Turkey and Tanzania.
This diversity reflects the Institute’s commitment to cross-cultural engagement and its pivotal role in promoting the Arabic language and strengthening its global presence among non-native speakers.
In addition to formal language instruction, the Institute offers students the opportunity to explore Omani culture, society, heritage, customs, and traditions through a range of complementary cultural programs and activities designed to enrich their educational experience.
The Institute provides specialized programs in Arabic language education that integrate academic study with practical application and cultural activities, thereby fostering the development of students’ linguistic competencies and deepening their connection to the Arabic language and its cultural heritage.
Through its successful courses, the Sultan Qaboos Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers continues to fulfill its mission of delivering Arabic language education to non-native speakers and strengthening cultural dialogue between the Sultanate of Oman and nations across the globe.
