    • Omani Artists Participate in Fine Arts Forum in Germany

    Krefeld: Omani visual artists Hafsa Al-Tamimi and Fakhrataj Al-Ismaili are participating in the fifth Fine Arts Forum “Arts Camp 2026”, currently being held in the German city of Krefeld until August 29.

    The forum brings together 27 artists representing diverse artistic experiences from several Arab and European countries.

    Omani participation aims to promote cultural exchange, showcase contemporary Omani artistic practices at international forums, and provide an opportunity to explore leading artistic schools and exchange experiences and skills in an interactive creative environment.

    The forum features a daily programme of open art galleries, allowing visitors to observe artists as they create their works and engage directly with them. It also includes workshops and dialogue sessions addressing social and cultural issues, as well as the intersection of visual arts with artificial intelligence and AI-generated imagery.

    The artworks produced during the forum explore themes including identity, cultural diversity, contemporary social changes and cultural heritage, while examining ways of presenting these themes through modern visual languages.
