    Oman and Tajikistan Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations in Dushanbe

    Dushanbe: His Excellency Qohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, received His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, during his visit to Dushanbe to participate in the Political Consultations Committee meeting between Oman and Tajikistan.

    The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explored opportunities to strengthen and expand cooperation across various fields.

    Al Harthy conveyed the greetings of the Omani Government to the Tajik Prime Minister and expressed Oman’s appreciation to the Tajik Government for opening its embassy in Muscat, describing the move as an important step in strengthening communication, cooperation and bilateral relations.

    For his part, the Tajik Prime Minister expressed his government’s appreciation for Oman’s role and standing, reaffirming Tajikistan’s interest in deepening cooperation with Oman and identifying new areas that could strengthen the bilateral partnership and broaden its horizons.

    The meeting was attended by senior Tajik officials, including Deputy Foreign Minister Sharifzoda Farrukh Hamidin and Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Oman Zubaydullo Zubaydov, along with a number of officials from the foreign ministries of both countries.
