ahlibank and Sanubader Join Forces to Fulfil Wishes of Young Patients

Muscat : As part of its commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for children facing illness and undergoing treatment at the Royal Hospital, ahlibank, through its ahliCares team, joined forces with the Sanubader Patient Services team to undertake a special Wish Fulfilment Initiative. The initiative fulfilled the wishes of more than 30 young patients, creating joyful moments and helping them feel valued and supported. Beyond fulfilling their individual wishes, the initiative sought to inspire renewed hope, encouraging the children to embrace their aspirations despite the challenges they face.

The initiative brought the young patients and their families together at ahlibank’s premises for a curated day of engagement, entertainment and inspiration. The children enjoyed interactive games and activities, creating opportunities for them to have fun, connect and make cherished memories. A motivational session further encouraged the young participants to look beyond the challenges of illness and treatment, reinforcing the message that their aspirations and potential extend far beyond the limitations of their medical circumstances.

Notably, the initiative saw ahlibank fulfil the children’s wishes for devices such as PlayStations, iPhones, Umrah trips, and more. In addition, the bank, in collaboration with the Sanubader team, provided iPad devices to facilitate online learning for children undergoing cancer treatment who are unable to attend regular classes.
