HM Sultan Haitham, Rwanda President Review Bilateral Investment Partnership

Salalah (ONA): His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda held an official session of talks at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah this afternoon. Discussions focused on cooperation and investment in mining, renewable energy, food security, land ports, logistics and healthcare, with the aim of strengthening investment partnership between the two countries in a manner that meets the aspirations of their peoples and serves their mutual interests.

The talks were attended from the Omani side by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology; Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Nasra bint Salim Al Hashmi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kenya and Non‑Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda

The session was attended from the Rwandan side by Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Yusuf Murangwa, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Antoine Kajangwe, Minister of Trade and Industry, Solange Uwituze, Minister of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Juliana Muganza, CEO of Rwanda Development Board, Dan Munyuza, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Sultanate of Oman and other officials.
