Spanish Cyclist Eduardo Sepúlveda Wins 150km Tour of Salalah Stage

Salalah (ONA): Spanish cyclist Eduardo Sepúlveda was crowned winner of the second stage of the sixth edition of the Tour of Salalah cycling race, organized by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with the Oman Cycling Association, running until 9 September 2026.

The third stage race of the tour flagged off from the Wilayat of Sadah to the finish line in Tawi Ateer over a distance of 150 kilometers, featuring the participation of 90 cyclists representing 16 regional and international teams. Spanish cyclist Eduardo Sepúlveda from Li Ning Star team won first place.

The stages of the tour will continue tomorrow with the fourth and final stage, which will flag off from in front of Taqah Castle, passing by Darbat Falls, and reaching Khawr Ruri over a distance of 106 kilometers.

The tour aims to highlight the natural and cultural assets of Dhofar Governorate, consolidate the Sultanate of Oman’s presence on the global cycling map, organize Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)-approved races, develop the skills of Omani cyclists, discover young talent, elevate the technical standard of the sport, and spread health awareness.
