Oman, Comoros Begin Joint Military Exercise “Brave of the Coast/1”

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: The joint military exercise “Brave of the Coast/1” (Shuja’a Al Sahel/1) began today at a Royal Army of Oman training area in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

The exercise is being conducted by the Royal Army of Oman, represented by the Muscat Battalion, and units from the Land Forces of the Union of the Comoros.

The exercise programme includes a range of military drills conducted in accordance with the approved exercise plan and designated training objectives.

The joint exercise forms part of the Royal Army of Oman’s annual training programmes with sisterly and friendly countries. It aims to maintain the readiness and operational efficiency of participating personnel while providing opportunities to exchange military expertise and experience between the participating forces.
