Oman Stock Market Rises 0.70% as MSX 30 Reaches 7,603 Points

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 7,603.23 points, gaining 53.1 points, or 0.70%, compared with the previous trading session’s close of 7,550.18 points.

Total trading value reached RO 48.36 million, an increase of 84.2% compared with RO 26.26 million in the previous session.

According to the MSX report, market capitalisation increased by 0.415% from the previous trading day to reach approximately RO 39.40 billion.

Non-Omani purchases on the exchange amounted to RO 12.192 million, representing 25.21% of total trading value, while non-Omani sales reached RO 5.051 million, accounting for 10.44%.

As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an inflow of RO 7.14 million, equivalent to 14.76% of total trading value.
