Tokyo: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sheikh Salim Mustahail Al Mashani, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court, took part in the state funeral of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, as a representative of the Sultanate of Oman. The funeral was held in Tokyo.
As part of the funeral service, Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan received Sheikh Salim Mustahail Al Mashani, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court. During the meeting, Al Mashani conveyed condolences and sympathies of His Majesty the Sultan to the Japanese leadership and people on the demise of the former premier.
On his turn, Kishida asked Sheikh Salim Al Mashani to convey his appreciation and thanks for His Majesty the Sultan’s noble sentiments. He also expressed his best wishes to His Majesty and the Omani people.
