KUWAIT: Kuwait National Football Team is officially out of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup after drawing a draw against Bahrain in the third round of Group B competitions.
The 1-1 match on Friday in Basra, took Kuwait out by goal difference with Qatar, who also qualified after a 1-1 result with UAE.
Bahrain’s Mahdi Humaidan scored in the 26th minute, while Shibeeb Al-Khaldi’s header at the last breath of the first half put Kuwait on the scoring board. With today’s results, Bahrain will meet Oman in the semifinals, while the host Iraq will go against Qatar. – KUNA
