Muscat: The Supreme Committee for Dealing with Covid-19 is following up the reports related to the tropical low-pressure condition in the Arabian Sea, which is expected to affect some of the Sultanate’s Governorates.
1, Therefore, in order to facilitate the movement of the citizens and residents, the Supreme Committee decides to lift the total lockdown between the Governorates earlier than announced, at 2:00 pm, Friday August 7, 2020.
2, The Supreme Committee stresses that this decision does not include Dhofar Governorate, as its lockdown will continue until further notice.
3, The Supreme Committee also affirms the continuation of the night movement ban in all of the Governorates from 7:00 pm today to 6:00 am tomorrow and from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am as of tomorrow, Saturday, August 8, until Saturday morning 15th August 2020.
