    • Royal Oman police arrested four expats for possessing of cigarettes and chewing tobacco

    Muscat: The Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command has arrested two persons of Asian nationality on charges of possessing cigarettes and chewing tobacco for the purpose of trafficking in them. More than (540) packs of cigarettes and more than (170) bags of chewed tobacco were seized in their possession.

    The Lima Police Station, led by the Musandam Governorate Police, also arrested two persons of Asian nationality on charges of smuggling chewed tobacco. They were in possession of 50 boxes and bags of various types of chewed tobacco.

    Legal measures were taken against the accused

    The Royal Oman Police commends the cooperation of citizens and residents in uncovering these crimes, stressing at the same time more cooperation and reporting by calling or going to the nearest police station.
