Oman booth at Riyadh International Book Fair witnesses large turnout

Riyadh: The Sultanate of Oman, the guest of honor at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, is witnessing, on its second day, a large turnout of visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen visits the booth of the Sultanate of Oman at the Riyadh International Book Fair, stressed the depth of relations and interconnectedness between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the historical status of the Sultanate of Oman.

His Highness expressed his admiration for the exhibition’s contents, especially the historical manuscripts located in the corner of the Sultanate of Oman.

The CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Alwan, confirmed that the exhibition comes at a time when the Sultanate of Oman is participating as a guest of honor to enhance international cultural exchange between the two brotherly countries, which are united by strong fraternal ties and extended cultural relations. ‏

He stressed that the Riyadh International Book Fair is a showcase for Saudi culture, and a major station on the map of Arab book fairs, and seeks to enrich the cultural scene, improve the quality of knowledge, and bridge cognitive horizons as a gateway to publishing in the Arabic language in the world, in accordance with the pillars of the national strategy for culture emanating from the “Saudi Vision.” 2030″.
