    • Most Roads Affected by Cyclone Tej in Dhofar Declared Opened

    Salalah: Eng. Said Mohammed Tabuk, Director General of Roads and Land Transport in Dhofar Governorate, affirmed the reopening of most of the roads in the governorate that were affected by the tropical condition Tej.

    An exception was Argut-Ashikhart Road, which was kept closed lest it might develop debris due to persistent rains. Tabuk told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the teams of the Directorate General of Roads and Land Transport in Dhofar carried out the restoration operations in cooperation with private sector companies.

    Tabuk cautioned that some roads might be closed in the evening due to an observed rise in water levels due to flowing Wadis and continuous rains.
