    • Oman participates in Al Nahham Festival in Saudi Arabia

    Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, participates in the activities and programs of the Al-Nahham Festival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of Dammam, from October 27 to November 2.

    The festival, organized by the Theater and Performing Arts Authority, includes several enrichment activities in various regions, live theatrical performances, art exhibitions, and a “Nahma” art competition in which performers from all Gulf Cooperation Council countries participate, in an effort to showcase marine performing arts and enhance their presence in the cultural scene.

    The Sultanate of Oman’s participation comes through the participation of two bands: Al-Naseem Folklore Band, and Fatah Al-Khair Folklore Band, in addition to the jury member, researcher and writer Hamoud bin Hamad Al-Ghailani.

    The festival aims to preserve marine performing arts in the Arabian Gulf region, strengthen the potential for cooperation in performing arts, enhance the interconnectedness of Gulf communities, shed light on the bulimic environment through accompanying events, and discover and support new performing and artistic talents.
