    Oman LNG signs supply deals with BP starting in 2026

    Muscat: The Oman LNG Company today signed an agreement to supply about 1 million metric tons annually of liquefied natural gas to BP, starting in 2026 and extending for 9 years.

    Hamad bin Mohammed Al Numani, CEO of the Oman LNG Company, said: The importance of this agreement is to create new opportunities to renew the Sultanate of Oman’s presence on the global energy trade map, noting that the agreement will contribute to increasing LNG revenues, supplying the national economy and raising the gross domestic product.

    He stressed that the Oman LNG Company continues its tireless efforts based on the pioneering reputation it has achieved as a certified source of liquefied natural gas, and the company intends to produce and export liquefied natural gas in order to achieve support for global energy security and the national economy.
