Washington: The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the Washington DC Travel and Adventure Show for the seventh year in a row, held in Washington, in cooperation with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and with the participation of the Royal Oman Police and the Sultan Qaboos Center for Culture in Washington.
The exhibition will be held on the 24th and 25th of February, and the pavilion is organized by the Advanced Innovations Foundation for Events Management.
This participation comes as a continuation of previous participations to introduce the Sultanate of Oman to the American public and the tourism, cultural and social components that characterize it, as well as investment opportunities in a number of fields.
The Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion enjoys excellent follow-up from visitors to the exhibition. Because of the exhibits it contains that represent Omani culture, such as the Omani dress for women and men, the unique frankincense in the world, and the widely famous Omani silver industries, in addition to giving visitors to the pavilion information about the regulations and laws followed in the Sultanate of Oman, the short and long-term tourist visa system, and providing examples of tourist packages that Includes visiting the most important tourist and cultural attractions.
It should be noted that the exhibition is considered the largest in the United States of America in the field of tourism and adventures, and was established 21 years ago.
During this period, the exhibition succeeded in creating an economy for participants exceeding 6 billion dollars, connecting more than two and a half million travel enthusiasts to destinations around the world, and connecting 15,000 travel advisors to 4,500 exhibiting companies and government institutions around the world.
