UAE announces week-long holiday for Eid al-Fitr 2024

Muscat: The UAE on Sunday 31 March 2024, announced a one-week holiday for federal government employees to mark Eid al-Fitr 2024.

Federal employees in the Gulf state will be on holiday from Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14 2024.

“The UAE Cabinet has mandated one-week Eid Al Fitr holiday for federal government,” a statement shared by the UAEGOV media office said.

Work will resume on Monday, 15 April 2024. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan which began on 11 March 2024.
