Muscat: Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority issues circular for all airlines operating in the sultanate of Oman
In a statement said Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) : Based on the decision made by the Supreme Committee for dealing with (Covid-19) issued on 4th May 2021, the Civil Aviation Authority would like to inform all airlines operating into the Sultanate that has been decided the following:
To extend until further notice, the suspension of arrivals from the following countries, Sudan, Lebanese, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and those who have been travelling from other countries but have passed through one of the aforementioned countries in the previous 14days preceding their request to enter the Sultanate.
Adding arrivals from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Philippines and travellers who have been traveling from other countries but have passed through any of these two countries in the previous 14days prior to their request to enter the Sultanate, to the list of countries from which entry to the Sultanate is suspended, effective 9 am (Oman local time) on Friday, 7th May 2021 until further notice.
The above excluded Omani citizens, diplomats, healthcare workers and their families who be subject to the approved procedures upon arriving in the Sultanate, said in the statement CAA.
