    • Oman wins gold medal in 24th World Military Equestrian Show Jumping Championship

    Doha: The Sultanate of Oman won first place and the gold medal at the conclusion of its participation in the 24th World Military Equestrian Show Jumping Championship in Qatar, through Sergeant Madin bin Saeed Al Yousfi of the Royal Cavalry of the Royal Court Affairs.

    Al Yousfi won the gold medal after coming in first place with a time of 45.66 seconds without errors on the horse “Hari Ab”, followed in second place by the Emirati rider First Lieutenant Saeed Al Mazmi with 47.14 seconds, and third place by the Italian Primo Graduato with 47.62 seconds.

    The participation of the Sultanate of Oman with a number of Royal Cavalry knights in the World Military Championship is the first of its kind in equestrian and show jumping sports, to enhance the presence of Omani military sports at the international level in this field.

    It is noteworthy that the championship was organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM), with the participation of 15 countries from around the world.
