Omani driver Ahmed Al Amri wins Red Bull Car Park Drift Championship

Muscat: Omani driver Ahmed Al Amri won first place in the Red Bull Car Park Drift 2024 World Finals at the Muscat Drift Circuit, with the participation of 28 drivers representing 17 countries, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Oman Automobile Association.

The tournament finals were held under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Fahr bin Fatik Al Said.

The Omani driver Haitham Al-Hadidi came in second place in the championship, which witnessed strong attendance and competition, while the Egyptian driver Hisham Al-Khatib came in third place, and the Lebanese driver Mohammed Shihab came in fourth place.

Following a series of qualifiers that began in Kuwait last February, the 2024 Red Bull Car Park Drift season visited 17 countries in search of an elite group of drifters who won their national championships and qualified to compete in the global finals.

The global finals featured drivers from Oman, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Iraq, in addition to qualifiers from across the Middle East.

The competition included drift champions from Georgia, South Africa, Estonia, Bulgaria, Mauritius and Azerbaijan.
