Bahrain to celebrate national holiday day on 16-17 December

Muscat: The Kingdom of Bahrain will celebrate its national holidays on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim state in 1783 AD, the 53rd anniversary of its accession to the United Nations as a full member state, and the 25th anniversary of the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain assuming power.

The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain have strong historical relations, and enjoy the high patronage of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and his brother His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Excellency Dr. Juma’a Ahmed Al-Ka’abi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, said that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national holidays brings back memories of years full of pioneering development achievements and comprehensive modern renaissance, and the manifestations of leadership, excellence and distinction achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain, to keep pace with the requirements of the present and the needs of the future, with wise visions and insightful vision under the leadership of the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and his usual keenness to direct all efforts to achieve the aspirations of the people of the Kingdom.
