The Executive Office of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation announced Thursday that Kuwait will host the Gulf “Legends” tournament in February, following an initiative by Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
Originally scheduled to take place alongside the Khaleeji Zain 26 tournament, the event was postponed to coincide with the annual Kuwait February Festival. The tournament will showcase veteran Gulf football stars, highlighting the region’s rich soccer heritage.
Minister Al-Mutairi also revealed that Gulf football legends will be honored during the Khaleeji Zain 26 final match, set for this Saturday.
