The Philippines government extends ban on travelers from Oman, India, UAE , Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka other until July 15 due to the delta Covid-19 variant, says Palace spokesman Harry Roque
Palace Spokesman Harry Roque said the extended travel restrictions until July 15 were part of “protective measure” on tightening international border controls due to the Delta variant. The travel ban on these countries was supposed to end on June 30.
However, this is the fourth time that travel restrictions were imposed on 7 countries to prevent the spread of the Delta coronavirus, earlier the travel restriction were first imposed from May 15 to May 31, These restrictions were extended for the month of June.
