    Qatar has confirmed its interest in hosting the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games, citing 95% infrastructure readiness and alignment with its national development goals.

    The Qatar Olympic Committee said the bid reflects the country’s commitment to sustainability, youth empowerment, and regional inclusion. If successful, Qatar would be the first Middle Eastern nation to host the Olympics.

    The country has a strong track record in organizing major global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup 2022 and Asian Games 2006.
