Humanitarian Aid, Fuel Deliveries to Gaza Resume Through Karem Abu Salem Crossing

Arish, Egypt: The entry of humanitarian aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip resumed today through the Karem Abu Salem crossing after operations were suspended yesterday due to security developments and the exchange of attacks between Iran and Israel.

The Egyptian Red Crescent in North Sinai stated that trucks entering under the “Pride of Glory – From Egypt to Gaza” (Zad Al-Ezza) convoy are carrying humanitarian and relief assistance, including meat, food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, petroleum products and fuel.

The organization added that total aid delivered to the Gaza Strip since the start of the war has reached nearly 50,000 trucks carrying more than 995,000 tonnes of humanitarian and relief supplies, in addition to ambulances and fuel tankers.

The resumption of aid deliveries comes amid continued efforts to provide humanitarian assistance and essential supplies to the population of the Gaza Strip.
