Al Nahda and Oman Club Qualify for Final of His Majesty the Sultan’s Football Cup
Muscat: Al Nahda and Oman Club qualified for the final of His Majesty the Sultan’s Football Cup for the 2025–2026 sports season after the conclusion of the second-leg matches of the semi-final round this evening.
In the first semi-final encounter, Al Nahda faced Al Seeb and succeeded in overturning their first-leg defeat (0–1) by securing a 2–0 victory in the second leg.
Al Nahda opened the scoring through Azzan Al Tamimi in the 22nd minute, while Ahed Al Mashaikhi added the second goal in the 52nd minute, sealing qualification on aggregate.
In the second semi-final match, held at Al Saada Sports Complex, Oman Club drew 1–1 with Al Nasr. Al Nasr took the lead in the 33rd minute through Abdullah Al Mushrafi, before Ahmed Al Siyabi equalised for Oman Club in the 53rd minute. The result enabled Oman Club to advance to the final with an aggregate score of 3–2.
The final match is scheduled to be held on 14 February 2026 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, where the champion of the current edition of the competition will be determined.
