Cairo: The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States has welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Syria and the full integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the institutions and administrative structures of the Syrian state, as announced by the Syrian Presidency.
In a statement, the Arab League described the agreement as an important step toward building the new Syrian state, strengthening its national institutions, and extending state sovereignty over all Syrian territory.
The Arab League reaffirmed its commitment to supporting all efforts that enhance the sovereignty, stability, unity, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic, stressing the importance of continuing and intensifying joint Arab efforts aimed at supporting Syria and its people.
