Arabian Gulf Cup draw: Oman in Group A with Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen

Baghdad: Oman will face off against Iraq, Saud Arabia and Yemen in Group A in next year’s edition of the 25th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

Held in the Southern Iraqi city of Basra, 8 GCC teams divided into 2 groups.

In Group B, Qatar will face off against Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain. the Arab tournament was initially set to take place in December 2022, but was pushed back as it consolidated in the same month as FIFA Qatar World Cup.

The Arabian Gulf cup to kick off in January 2023 for the second time in Iraq since 1979.

The Arab Gulf Cup Federation approved the international stadiums of Basra and Al-Mina to hold the matches of the tournament during the period from 6 to 19 January 2023, hosted by Iraq, with the participation of 8 teams.
