Muscat: The Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED) today announced the start of registration to the 7th edition of its orientation programme themed “Inspiration and Success”.
The mentoring programme targets entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups.
The programme seeks to enable entrepreneurs to strategically plan their businesses and manage them in a professional manner. Through a set of seven business-tailored workshops, the programme provides entrepreneurs with the skills needed to seize opportunities and achieve maximum success.
Besides entrepreneurship, the orientation programme also aims to spread social awareness about the culture of voluntary work that can be practiced through entrepreneurship in Oman. It targets two segments of entrepreneurship: SMEs and startups.
The programme constitutes a link in a series of business orientation that kicked off a decade ago, since the convening of the “Small and Medium Enterprises Development Symposium” at Seih Al Shamkhat in the Wilayat of Bahla in 2013.
