Top Riders Compete in 100km Night Endurance Race in Oman
Barka: The 100-kilometre night endurance race concluded at Al Mahamid Endurance Village in the Wilayat of Barka, under the supervision of the Oman Equestrian Federation, with the participation of 83 horses.
The race was conducted over four stages, with the first and second stages covering 30 kilometres each, followed by two final stages of 20 kilometres each.
The event witnessed strong competition, particularly in the final stages.
The mare “At Dial Ring Venus” secured first place after a consistent performance. The horse is owned and trained by Mohammed bin Hamoud Al Balushi and was ridden by Ahmed bin Darwish Al Hammadi.
Second place went to “Fayjab,” owned by the Royal Stables, trained by Muhannad bin Ibrahim Al Balushi and ridden by Abdulrahman bin Khalid Al Zadjali.
The race recognized the top two winners, reflecting the competitive level of the event.
The race forms part of ongoing efforts by the Oman Equestrian Federation to support endurance racing and develop rider and horse performance in line with international standards.
