Muscat: The Foreign Ministry today organized the inaugural ceremony for a book titled “Sri Lanka-Oman Relations: The Past, President and Future”. The book launch marks the 40th anniversary of establishment of relations between the two countries.
Authored by Omar Lebbe, Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman, at the end of his term of office, the book explores the history of bilateral relations and includes inputs from the ambassador’s own memories in Oman.
The ceremony was attended by Shaikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, as well as ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to Oman.
