Brazilian Nicolas wins the second stage of Salalah Tour

Salalah: Brazilian cyclist Nicolas won the second stage of the fourth edition of the Salalah Cycling Tour, as part of the Dhofar Khareef Festival organised by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with the Oman Cycling Federation and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

The second stage of the Salalah Tour started from Al Dahariz Beach, passing through Tawi Atir and Madinat Al Haq, and ending in Wadi Darbat, a distance of 120 kilometers. The cyclist Ibrahim Al-Sabahi from the Qatar Pro team won the white jersey under 23 years old, and the Mongolian cyclist Benjarar won the grey jersey.

The tour stages will continue tomorrow through the third stage, which starts from Al-Hafa Market, passing through the Niyabat of Taytam and concluding in Itin Park, a distance of 119 kilometers.

The Salalah Tour will conclude on September 11 through the fourth stage from Al-Maghsail to Darbat Waterfalls, a distance of 133 kilometers. The tour aims to promote tourism in Dhofar Governorate, in addition to the suitability of the autumn weather for holding such races, igniting the spirit of competition among the contestants and improving the technical aspect of the game.
