Building Financial Awareness Early: ahlibank Conducts Financial Literacy Workshop for Youth

Muscat: In line with its commitment to social responsibility and community empowerment, ahlibank hosted an insightful financial literacy workshop titled ‘Start It Right – Your Journey in the World of Finance’. The session was designed to equip youth from the Child Care Center with the knowledge, tools, and habits needed to make informed financial decisions and build a strong foundation for future success. This initiative underscores ahlibank’s focus on creating meaningful impact beyond banking excellence, fostering essential financial literacy skills among the next generation and preparing them to manage their financial responsibilities with confidence.

Held on 6 May 2026, the workshop brought together 24 participants aged 13 to 18 for an enriching experience. The program featured an insightful session on ‘Financial Literacy & Money Management’ delivered by experts from the bank, and a session on ‘Digitalization & Innovation in Finance’ led by the bank’s Innovation team. Throughout the workshop, participants gained practical knowledge and real-world insights, while an interactive Q&A session provided an open platform to explore their questions. The event also offered a unique opportunity for attendees to experience ahlibank’s premises through a guided tour of the innovation lab. A series of games and interactive group activities, complemented by thoughtfully curated giveaways, left participants with a memorable and impactful experience.
