    • “Civil Defense” honors child who saved his family from a fire in Oman

    Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance said that Brigadier General Mu’tasim bin Ahmed Al Shaksi, Director General of Civil Defense, honored a 9-year-old child.

    In a statement issued on PACDA said: The Brigadier General honored the Director General of Civil Defense Al-Mu’tasim bin Ahmed Al-Shaksi (9 years) in recognition of his heroic stance in saving his family due to a fire in their home in the Wilayat of  Bahla in the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliyah.

    The Brigadier praised his good behavior, stressing the importance of community members’ awareness of the risks and how to act during accidents, wishing safety for all
