Covid-19: Oman reports first death among MOH’s healthcare workers

Muscat: Oman has reported yesterday 14th September 2020, the first death among the MOH’s healthcare workers.

In a statement issued online MOH said: With great sadness and sorrow, the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman mourns the Staff nurse Blessy Thomas ( Indian National) who passed away yesterday at the Royal Hospital’s ICU due to COVID-19.

This is the first death among health workers in Oman due tot he pandemic.

The deceased was a true hero and role model of hard sincere work.

His Excellency the Minister of Health, their Excellencies, as well the MOH’s personnel and all health workers in Oman express their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, may allah grant them the strengths to bare her loss.

May her soul rests in peace.
