COVID-19: Oman reports more than 200 patients in intensive care

Muscat: The Ministry of Health announced today 28th Sept, the registration of 15 deaths due to the Corona virus, bringing the total deaths to 924 deaths, with 607 new cases recorded, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to (98,057) cases, while the total cases of recovery reached ( 88,234) cases, with a recovery rate of 89.9%.

The number of new admissions in hospitals within last 24hours reached 74, bringing the total number of inpatients to 536 cases; Among them, 201 cases are in intensive care (ICU).

The Ministry calls on everyone to fully adhere to the precautionary measures, especially wearing the mask, physical distance of at least two meters, to keep cleaning hands with soap and water, or to use an approved alcohol-based sanitizer, to avoid touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, and to follow healthy habits when Sneezing and coughing, and not leaving the house unless necessary.
