Spain, Brazil and Mexico Call for Urgent Relief Amid Cuba Crisis
Madrid:- The governments of Brazil, Mexico and Spain have expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Cuba, calling for urgent action to ease the suffering of the Cuban people.
In a joint statement issued by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the three countries urged all parties to avoid actions that could further deteriorate living conditions or violate international law. They affirmed their commitment to supporting a coordinated humanitarian response to address the crisis.
The statement highlighted the importance of adhering to international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
The three countries also reiterated their support for human rights, democratic values and pluralism, calling for constructive dialogue under international law to reach a lasting solution.
They stressed the need to enable the Cuban people to determine their future through a political process that reflects their will and aspirations.
