    Oman Battles Comoros in Determining Group Two Showdown at Stadium 974

    Doha: The Oman Football Team will enter a decisive final Group Two match tomorrow (Monday) against the Comoros National Team, aiming to secure qualification for the Arab Cup quarter-finals. The pivotal third-round clash will take place at Stadium 974 at 9:00 pm Oman time and will determine which team advances alongside Saudi Arabia.

    Oman seeks to claim the full three points to keep its qualification hopes alive, with its fate also linked to the outcome of the simultaneous match between Saudi Arabia and Morocco. Saudi Arabia currently tops the group with 6 points, followed by Morocco with 4 points. Oman stands in third place with 1 point, while Comoros sits at the bottom with no points.

    During the pre-match press conference, Oman’s head coach Carlos Queiroz affirmed that the national team continues its preparations with full focus and determination. He stressed that victory is the sole and essential objective, a message he has relayed clearly to all players. Queiroz noted that qualification remains within reach and highlighted the quality within the Comoros squad, which has demonstrated strong performances and created clear scoring chances in previous matches. He emphasized that Oman must approach the match with maximum concentration and complete readiness.
