Elite Horses Compete in 12th Race of Oman’s 2025–2026 Season
Barka: The Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation today organized the twelfth race of the 2025–2026 season at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate, with the participation of an elite group of purebred Arabian and mixed-breed horses.
The race meet comprised eight competitive races, witnessing strong performances and wide participation from owners and trainers.
In the first race, “Jabal Shams Race,” the horse Amniyat Al Faisal, owned by Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al Balushi, claimed first place.
The second race, “Jabal Hat Race,” was won by Ghawash Al Shahaniya, owned by Saif bin Salem Al Mahrouqi.
The horse Rouge Fox, owned by Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sawai, secured first place in the third race, “Jabal Al Kor Race,” while Kal Raad, owned by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Siyabi, topped the fourth race, “Jabal Al Akhdar Race.”
In the fifth race, “Jabal Hafeet Race,” first place went to Wahaj Al Wafi, owned by Abdullah bin Salem Al Rasbi.
The sixth race, “Jabal Atin Race,” was won by Al Mudhaffar E.S., owned by Laith bin Saeed Al Abdul Salam.
The horse Emperor Lotus, owned by Majid bin Ali Al Maamari, claimed victory in the seventh race, “Jabal Al Musht Race,” while Al Rabeh, owned by the Royal Cavalry, won first place in the eighth and final race, “Jabal Samhan Race.”
The race meeting forms part of the federation’s ongoing efforts to promote equestrian sports, develop horse racing in the Sultanate of Oman, and support horse owners and breeders across the governorates.
