Europcar Oman Employees and Family Members Celebrate Iftar Together at Oman’s Diplomatic Club harnessing the spirit of unity, diversity and cultural appreciation

Muscat: Europcar Oman,  a leading mobility services company held their annual Iftar celebration for the staff and their families on the 28th of March. This is a tradition that Europcar carries forward each year,  to celebrate the season whilst  fostering a sense of community and inclusivity amongst staff members.

This year Europcar Oman’s philanthropic corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the earnest commitment towards health and wellness of the society. By contributing towards cancer awareness and elimination, Europcar hopes to make a significant difference and hence The Oman Cancer Association Board members and volunteers including  children were a part of the Iftar celebration.

The Iftar celebration this year was held at the Diplomatic Club in Muscat, Oman starting at 6pm in the evening. The Club, situated in the diplomatic enclave of Muscat, proved to be  a wonderful venue for socialising and entertainment with its lush gardens and spacious facilities.

In addition to the culinary delights, the Iftar celebration featured speeches, activities, exciting giveaways for the children and opportunities for employees to connect and engage with one another.

Nitin Sapre, the CEO of Europcar Oman and Bahrain stated- “I am a firm believer that we need to reflect on the importance of unity, compassion, and understanding in both professional and personal spheres. As we share the traditions and values of this sacred month, we strengthen our bonds as colleagues and contribute to the positive workplace culture built on respect, diversity, and mutual support. By coming together in celebration, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.”

Building relationships and fostering long term ties with the staff is a way of life at Europcar.
