First Field hospital to open in Oman on September: Minister of Health

Minister of Health: The field hospital aims to reduce the pressure on health institutions in all governorates of the Sultanate in cooperation with the private sector and other bodies, and we hope to open the first part of it at the end of September.

Minister of Health: A press conference will be dedicated to the start of the schools and its related procedures.

Minister of Health: We muscat ensure that the resumption of activities will not cause a health disaster.

Minister of Health: All the manufacturers of the Covid-19 vaccine have been addressed, and the Sultanate has joined the Global Vaccine Alliance with the World Health Organization, and it will be distributed if it is available and safe.

Minister of Health: In relation to the peak of the disease; The Sultanate is witnessing fluctuating figures, but the decline is more than the rise.

Minister of Health:Basic health services have not been affected by the pandemic, such as vaccinations and maternal and child care

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri: The number of inpatients in hospitals decreased by 38%, as well as the number of inpatients in intensive care by 40%, while deaths decreased by 23%.

Dr Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Harthi: The emergency was divided into several divisions to receive cases of Covid 19 and other cases.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri: There is no delay in the appearance of test results in government health institutions, as they appear within 24 hours, but the challenge is in private health institutions that rely on independent private laboratories.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri: The development of health services in the Sultanate’s hospitals in receiving patients more than before since the beginning of the pandemic.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri: It has been scientifically proven that daily examinations for Covid 19 are not feasible and a large number of countries of the world have adopted this procedure followed by the Sultanate.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri: Decrease in positive tests from 50% to 15%, thank God.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al Abri:  There are four hospitals of the Ministry of Health are currently equipped for isolation. By the end of this month, all hospitals will be equipped according to the international standards for taking caring of COVID-19 patients.
