Florentino Pérez Re-Elected Real Madrid President for Four-Year Term

Madrid: Florentino Pérez has been re-elected president of Real Madrid for a new four-year term after securing 65 percent of the votes cast in the club’s presidential election.

Official results showed that Pérez defeated rival candidate Enrique Riquelme, who received 35 percent of the votes. A total of 33,555 club members participated in the election.

Voting was held at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training complex near Madrid.

During his election campaign, Pérez pledged to pursue a number of major signings, while Riquelme focused on proposals aimed at strengthening the role of club members and upgrading facilities.

Real Madrid reported revenues of €1.19 billion during the 2024–2025 season.

According to Forbes, the club’s market value is estimated at US$6.75 billion, maintaining its position as the world’s most valuable football club.
