    • Forum on Rural Products in Muscat begins

    Muscat:- A forum kicked off here today to introduce rural products in the Governorate of Muscat, as well as highlight methods of production and the safety and quality of food.

    The forum also reviews success stories in fields related to agriculture, livestock and fisheries.

    The event, which runs till 27 February 2023, is held under the patronage of Ahmed Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture.

    Empowering rural women is one of the aims of the forum. In addition, the event targets marketing the products of rural women in a bid to increase demand and production. – ONA
